Some Things to Know
When a holiday falls on a weekend, the following Monday is a government holiday.  Also, many of these holidays and dates change from year to year.  During some multi-day holidays, many people take the whole week off work to come to the beach.  Christmas to New Years and Chinese New Years are also a busy time of year.

November 1st to February 28th is the busiest time of year in SihanoukVille.

Many hotels and guesthouses here take reservations, many don't.  Best to book a room if you know you're coming on one of the big holidays...
