Independence beach is getting a renovation now, and will be one of SihanoukVille's nicest beaches by the end of 202?. There's now a dozen beach restaurants right on the beach near Independence Hotel including The Small Beach Bar. This is a public beach now, and very nice for walking on the Independence Hotel pier. One section of the beach is a construction area, and at the Independence Hotel, they will charge you $7 to walk on their public beach. |

Getting Here 3. From Victory Hill, stay on the road along the beach, (going away from the port) and you'll get there in about 5 minutes. Watch out for monkeys. |
